For Schools and Educators

EYP Romania offers schools the opportunity to bring European dialogue, civic education, and skill-building directly to their students. Our events give young people the chance to step outside the classroom, explore pressing societal issues, and collaborate with peers from across Romania and Europe.

The European Youth Parliament is one of the most transformative non-formal educational projects your students can experience. Teachers regularly report favourably on the academic, political, social, and emotional impacts that participating has on their students’ educational and personal growth.

By collaborating with us, schools can:

  • Invite their students to participate as Delegates in EYP events
  • Host presentations, workshops, or outreach events to introduce EYP to their school
  • Support their students’ long-term development through EYP’s network of trainings and international opportunities

Your role as an educator

Teachers play a key role in guiding and supporting students before, during, and after their EYP experiences. Beyond handling logistics, educators often assist students with:

  • Developing public speaking and presentation skills
  • Building confidence and presence in debates and discussions
  • Navigating the journey from local events to national and even international participation. This mentorship helps students make the most of their EYP experience.

Many EYP International Sessions also offer tailored programmes for teachers, including workshops, networking opportunities, and local cultural visits, giving educators insight into non-formal education and the chance to connect with peers across Europe.

Participating in EYP opens doors for students far beyond a single event. Through Teambuilding, Committee Work, and General Assembly, they develop a deeper understanding of European issues while building essential life skills like teamwork, leadership, adaptability, and intercultural communication. The experience encourages students to think critically, engage in meaningful dialogue, and step outside their comfort zone, all in a supportive and inspiring environment.
